Signed Quote Operations

Scope

Use this runbook when signed swaps fail, quote issuance slows, or signer freshness is in doubt.

Authority Required

Read access to quote server logs and runtime configuration. Signer rotation is an administrative action and belongs in Signer Rotation.

Procedure

1. Check server health:

   make quote-health

2. Confirm the server is using the intended manifest:

   make quote-dev MANIFEST=deployments/manifests/11155111-registered-issuer-m1-staging-active.json

3. Inspect structured logs for quote_request_error and quote_request_timing.

4. Separate request validation failures from signer, RPC, oracle, and inventory failures.

5. Reproduce with the smallest supported amount before raising limits.

Verification

• GET /healthz returns { "ok": true }.
• Quote requests return a signed payload for the intended path.
• The server-timing header shows no unexpected stage spike.

Rollback

Stop issuance for the affected market by removing it from routing or pausing the affected contract path. Rotate signer only after active signed payloads have expired or been invalidated by policy.
