Liquidation Controller Backfill

Attach liquidation support to an already deployed native stablecoin market.

Scope

Use this runbook when a protected CDP market exists but needs a LiquidationController deployed and written back to the manifest.

Authority Required

Deployment key and permission to update the target manifest.

Procedure

Run the backfill target with an explicit manifest:

make deploy-liquidation-controller MANIFEST=deployments/manifests/11155111-native-stablecoin-registry-v3.json

The Makefile sets WRITE_MANIFEST=true by default so the production script can record the deployed controller.

Verification

  • Manifest diff contains the expected liquidation controller value.
  • POST /quote/liquidations can discover inventory for the market.
  • A liquidation bot simulation can resolve hook data and controller addresses.

Rollback

If the controller is wrong, stop bots for that market, restore the previous manifest, and redeploy with corrected inputs.
